Zeeland is evocative of peace and space. It calls to mind images of dunes and pretty beaches. Zeeland equals agriculture and the fishing industry. It houses historical cities and picturesque villages. However, hardly anybody thinks of Zeeland as a hive of economic activity where trade and industry play an important role.
It is no surprise then that visitors to Zeeland Seaports are amazed at what they discover. A large area with numerous businesses located in the port area and ports which are hives of activity.
