Omschrijving THE BLISSFULNESS OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
About the Book
The Blissfulness of the Christian Life: Our Identity in Christ challenges the common pursuit of happiness through success, status, and personal achievement by showing that true, lasting joy comes from a restored relationship with God. While the world chases wealth, power, and recognition only to find restlessness, this book presents the gospel as a transformative message of grace. Unlike human systems that require striving upward, the gospel declares that God reached down to humanity through Jesus Christ, accomplishing salvation through His incarnation, death, and resurrection. This finished work results not in mere improvement but in complete adoption into God''s family, granting believers an eternal inheritance and a new identity.
At the heart of this blissful life is grace-salvation received as an unearned gift rather than a reward for moral or religious effort. Through regeneration, justification, sanctification, and the indwelling Holy Spirit, believers experience a living relationship with God that sustains them through suffering and anchors them in uncertain times. The book invites readers to rediscover profound joy by embracing their true identity in Christ, a joy that produces grateful obedience and purposeful living. More than theological reflection, this work calls believers to daily return to the fountain of grace, living as beloved children who experience heaven touching earth both now and
