The Ballroom

When Holly Dawson entered adolescence, it was international heartthrob Luke Damian who inflamed her burgeoning hormones with his portrayal of a young British Detective on a weekly TV series. The walls of her room were covered with his posters and magazine covers.
In her mid-twenties, Holly is a professional dancer, working on a hit network show and recovering from the brutal breakup of a longtime relationship. When Luke walks into the first rehearsal of the new season and announces that he is her celebrity partner, Holly is momentarily stunned and near speechless.
Facing three months of intimate, daily contact, she must draw on every ounce of willpower and professionalism to fight her renewed attraction to the handsome, sexy, flesh and blood version of her teenage dreams-while training him to compete for the show's gold medal.
As if the up-close and personal requirements of dirty dancing with Luke Damian do not complicate life enough, Holly must also cope with overt advances from a pair of hot, male dancers; the obsessive jealousy of a supermodel Luke has been dating; and a threat of potential danger from an anonymous source.
THE BALLROOM tells a story of what life is like when a dream comes true-ten years later.
