Rotterdam: the City and the Port from above.

When you fly over the port of Rotterdam and the surrounding industrial area, you immediately notice how orderly and efficienteverything is. And it has to be! Why? Because everything in the port is interconnected: the Nieuwe Waterweg canal, the harbour basins, quays, container terminals, industrial estates and the petrochemical industry; they can''t exist without each other.
Through 160 razor-sharp aerial photographs, this book provides you with remarkable views over both the famous and less-famous parts of Rotterdam''s city centre and Europe''s largest port. When seen from the air, the map - the map of the port -really comes to life. This is the powerhouse of the Dutch economy, where high ambitions in the fields of technology, energy transition and sustainability are continually being realised.
