KINGDOM OF THE SUN

Kingdom of the Sun is inspired by the legendary myth of Ara the Beautiful and Queen Semiramis-a tale of love, obsession, and tragedy.
The story begins in modern-day Yerevan, 2021. Iskuhi, a young student, lives an ordinary life until fate intervenes. On a rainy day, as she bends to tie her shoes beneath a tree, lightning strikes and hurls her back in time to 809 BC, into the world of Ara the Beautiful.
At first, Iskuhi believes it is all a dream, but the dream never ends. She finds herself living in the ancient kingdom of Urartu, face to face with Ara, the king whose legend she had only read about. Duty binds him to marry Nevard, chosen by his mother to secure heirs for the throne, yet destiny entwines him with Iskuhi in a love neither expected.
But far away, Semiramis, the powerful Queen of Assyria, burns with an obsessive desire for Ara. When he rejects her, her longing turns to wrath, and she declares war on Armenia.
Knowing how the legend ends, Iskuhi must face thecruel weight of history. Can love rewrite what is already written, or will fate claim Ara as it always has?
