Gang Violence in the Church

Drawing from his personal experience as a young man affiliated with gangs and as a pastor later in life, author Leonard C. Jerkins asserts that it's time to change how we worship and praise God and congregate as a church. According to Jerkins, there is more unity on the streets than in today's churches. Instead of fighting sin, he maintains, we fight each other-we fight about our differences in traditions, our opinions about God's word, and our denominations.

In the triumphant and motivating Gang Violence in the Church, Jerkins uses his life-changing personal-success story as a starting place for teaching others in need of spiritual guidance how to stop fighting and start living a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle through a genuine belief in and devotion to God.

Gang Violence in the Church challenges our beliefs and asks us to question whether we truly seek the truth concerning God's word or just look for what we want his words to say. With Jerkins' honest and powerful teachings, everyone can find a rightful and righteous path to God with the purpose of improving ourselves and our communities.
